Read More	Harriet Josephine St. Louis May 30, 1931 - August 11, 2019 Obituary for Harriet Josephine St. Louis Harriet Josephine (Ritchie) St. Louis, 88, of West Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at The Lodge Nursing Center in Loveland, Ohio. Harriet was born May 30, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She lived in Springdale, Ohio until she and her family moved to Mt. Healthy, Ohio in 1946. She was a 1949 graduate of Mt. Healthy High School and attended Ohio Northern University. She married Robert J. St. Louis on December 23, 1951. Together, they had five children. Harriet and Bob lived in both Baltimore, MD and Richmond, IN before returning permanently to the Cincinnati area in 1970. In addition to raising her family, Harriet’s career included Office Manager at the Blue Ash YMCA, Gift Shop Manager at the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History, and Sales Representative for Marian Heath Greeting Cards. Harriet was a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast, loved travel, followed national politics intently, enjoyed gardening, crocheted hundreds of dish scrubbers for family and friends, and avidly kept up with the activities of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Bishop) and Ralph Ritchie and her sister, Jane (Ritchie) Riggs. Harriet is survived by her sister, Linda (Larry) Christman, her children, Sharon (Bob Sloman) St. Louis, Lyn St. Louis, Susan (Paul Diekmeyer) St. Louis, James (Terrie) St. Louis, and Joseph (Sandra) St. Louis. In addition, she is survived by seven grandchildren, Russell (Rebecca) Swinburne Romine, Ellyn (Blandy) Buchanan, Nathan (Abby Smith) Diekmeyer, April (Rich) Albrecht, Samantha (Brett) McNerney, Caitlin St. Louis, Tony Bowles, and ten great grandchildren. Ethan and Esther Albrecht, Dale and Allyson Bowles, Henry, Rosalyn and Charles Swinburne Romine, Mackenzie McNerney, and Corinne and Cameron Buchanan. She also leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews, cherished cousins, and devoted friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
