Description	:	HOLDREGE — Harriet Mae Isaacson, 86, of Holdrege died Friday, May 26, 2017, at Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Celebration of life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Holdrege with the Revs. Paul Bauman and Murray Jones officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Home Cemetery near Holdrege. Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege is in charge of the arrangements. She went home to be with her Lord on Friday. Read More	HOLDREGE — Harriet Mae Isaacson, 86, of Holdrege died Friday, May 26, 2017, at Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Burial will be at Prairie Home Cemetery near Holdrege. Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege is in charge of the arrangements. She went home to be with her Lord on Friday. She was born May 11, 1931, on the family farm south of Loomis, the middle child born to Harry and Mabel (Johnson) Young. She attended Loomis Public Schools and graduated from Loomis High School with the class of 1948. She then pursued higher education at Kearney State Teachers College and received her teaching credentials. Following graduation, she taught kindergarten through eighth grades in a rural school in the Westmark Community north of Loomis and then at Loomis Public School. On Aug. 14, 1955, she married Lee A. Isaacson at Loomis Evangelical Free Church, and to this union the couple were blessed with six children: Michael, Robert, James, Julie, Angie and Ryan. The family made their home in Holdrege where Harriet devoted her life to her family, caring for every need. This August they would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Harriet accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She was a devoted member of Trinity Evangelical Free Church where she was involved in the Women’s Ministries and taught Sunday school for many years. Harriet loved spending time with her family and attending all of their activities. She was gifted in hospitality and loved to serve others. She leaves to celebrate her life her husband, Lee Isaacson of Holdrege; her children, Mike Isaacson and his wife, Connie, of Lincoln, Bob Isaacson and his wife, Rona, Jim Isaacson and his wife, Janice, and Julie Lind and her husband, Mark, all of Holdrege, Angie Chally and her husband, Dave, of Kearney and Ryan Isaacson of Holdrege; 18 grandchildren, Bethany Korsmo and her husband, John, Rachel Voelker and her husband, Andrew, Jordan Isaacson and his wife, Aspen, Jon Isaacson and his wife, Sam, Tanner Isaacson and his wife, Becky, Annika Hueftle and her husband, Dakota, Breanna Ecklun and her husband, Matt, Spencer Isaacson, Jena Mizner and her husband, Bryan, Joey Isaacson, Jamie Isaacson, Isaac Lind and his wife, Anne, Jake Lind, Jessa Lind and Drew, Adam, Dani and Ali Chally; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marcia Junas and her husband, Jerry, of Libertyville, Ill.; three brothers-in-law, Larry Isaacson of Lincoln, Frank Isaacson and his wife, Kathy, of Appleton, Wis., and Skip Masterson of Lakewood, Colo.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lois Young and Phyllis Young at age 3; and two infant brothers.
