Mrs. Harriet Oxley of Hopkins(Missouri)died yesterday morning at 2:30 o'clock following several months suffering from cancer of the stomach. Her death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Appleton, with whom she has been making her home for some time. Mrs. Oxley was born in Brown county, Ohio, May 12, 1841, and moved to Missouri in 1851, With the exception of a short time spent in Taylor country, Iowa, she had resided continuously in this state. She was married to Aaron Oxley in 1860. Mr. Oxley died in 1892. She leaves three children-Willis Oxley and Mrs. Appleton of Hopkins and George Oxley of Shenandoah, Iowa.
