Mrs. Jeffers was a member of the Oskaloosa Presbyterian Church, a Past Worthy Matron of Oskaloosa Chapter 62 of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Fraternal Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem in Lawrence, the Auxiliary of Larner-Segraves Post 36 of the American Legion, Oskaloosa, and a charter member of the Jefferson County Craft Guild. Mrs. Jeffers also was a Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader, and she taught Sunday school. She was married to Ray Henry Jeffers on March 3, 1930. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Mart Jeffers and Roger Jeffers, both of Oskaloosa; one daughter, Jan Brax, Assaria; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
