Description	:	On Wednesday, December 5, 2007, Harry Andrew Kuzyk of Edmonton, Alberta passed away in his home at the age of 84 years. Harry was born in Darling, Alberta on November 16, 1923, the first born son of Andrew and Francis Kuzyk. Read More	On Wednesday, December 5, 2007, Harry Andrew Kuzyk of Edmonton, Alberta passed away in his home at the age of 84 years. Harry was born in Darling, Alberta on November 16, 1923, the first born son of Andrew and Francis Kuzyk. He grew up on the family farm, working with his father and three younger brothers, Leo, Frank and Victor. In 1944, Harry moved to Edmonton where he met Ann Chudek. The two fell in love and were married in the city on July 15, 1949. Seeking their fortune, the young couple moved to Daysland where Harry opened a garage and they started a family with the birth of their first son Rick. But fire took away that dream, and the family returned to Edmonton where Harry started working with the City of Edmonton - first in the Parks Department and later with the Edmonton Transit System. In Edmonton, Harry and Ann were again blessed by the birth of their second son, Randy. Harry dedicated himself fully to everything he did. In his early years as a City employee, he was active with his union and contributed to worker health and safety. Even after retirement, Harry was an active executive in the Society of Retired City Employees and in the "Autumn Leaves" seniors group at his church. As a father, Harry was very supportive of his sons in their sporting and other activities. Always a steadfast and loyal husband, Harry supported his Ann to the last of his days. Truly, Harry and Ann were a couple for better or worse, through sickness and in health. Harry will be remembered by the many people whose lives he touched and he will be terribly missed by all. Left to celebrate his life and mourn his passing are his wife, Ann, his son Rick and his wife Jane (children Elizabeth, Jack, Eva and Cassie) and his son Randy and his wife Arlene (children Kyle and Kristin), his brother Victor and his wife Marge, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Service held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 10956 - 96 Street, Edmonton on Tuesday, December 11. From obituary published in the Edmonton Journal from 12/8/2007 - 12/9/2007.
