Brown was born April 2, 1889 to Mr. and Mrs. Albert [sic] Brown at Lykens, Ohio and departed this life on Feb. 1, 1962 at Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 29 days. He lived in Ohio until coming to Wolbach in 1930. He and Alvina Brandt were married at Columbus, Nebraska on Sept. 23, 1952. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, two stepchildren, Melvin Brandt of Grand Island and Mrs. Duane Sprague of Rapid City, S. D.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and a brother.
