Nash, 21, San Diego, Cal., on August 19. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nash - Ball Miss Myrtle Nash, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Nash of San Diego, Cal., and Sgt. H. Dale Hall, son of Harry E. Ball of Belleville, were united in marriage at 8:15 o'clock Sunday evening, August 20, at Rose Creek Chapel church (sic), the Rev. Amos Rundus reading the single ring ceremony in the presence of relatives and friends. The church was decorated with flowers and pink and white streamers. The bride wore a white satin floor length gown, and carried an arm bouquet of white gladiola. Her maid of honor. Miss Melva Jean Beecher, niece of the groom, wore a floor length blue taffeta gown, and carried an arm bouquet of pink gladiola and blue delphinium. Rosalyn and Betty Lou Hall, nieces of the groom, were flower girls and wore orchid dresses with bouquets of orchid and yellow flowers. The groom was dressed in the uniform of the U. S. Marine corps (sic). He was attended by his nephew, U.J. Beecher, who wore a navy blue suit. The Rundus trio sang "Oh Love That Will Not Let me Go." Mrs. Dale Ball has spent three years in Bible school in Los Angeles. Sgt. Ball has been in the Marine corps for the past two and one-half years. He is stationed at Cherry Point, N.C. Mrs. Ball plans to live with his sister, Mrs. Guy Myers of Kansas City, Kan., and complete her Bible course at the Kansas City Bible college. A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Beecher. The evening was spent in singing hymns and giving Bible verses. The three-tiered wedding cake was placed in the center of the table, which was decorated with red roses and pink and white candles. The rooms were decorated with bouquets of flowers. Ball and family of Hubbell, Neb., Miss Thelma Beecher of Springfield, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Beecher and family of Munden, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ball, Bud and Ruth, Mr. and Mrs. Omar Dooley, Mrs. Isis Holmes, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Leeding, Mr. and Mrs. Redge Whitman of Belleville, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Canfield, Doris and Donald, Miss Betty Lee and Virgil Canning, the Rev. Rundus, Jerry and Caroline Rundus of Minden. ============================================== The Belleville Telescope (Belleville, KS), Thursday, April 28, 1955; pg. 7 Harry Dale Ball Harry Dale Ball, son of Blanche and Harry Bail, was born November 28, 1917, at the farm home in Republic County, north of Belleville, Kan. He departed this life to be with the Lord April 16, 1955, at the, ago of 37 years, four months and18 days in a vehicle accident between Tucson and Nogales, Ariz. On August 20, 1944, he was united in marriage to Myrtle Nash of San Diego, Cal., at the Rose Creek Chapel northeast of Belleville. To this union were born two sons, Stephen Dale, age nine and Daniel David, seven. In 1942, he entered the U. S. Marine Corps and served four years in true soldier service to his country and his God. He then attended Miltonvale Bible college and went into service for the Lord, He moved to Springfield, Mo., and worked with Brother Floyd Hitchcock in Christian work and then moved with his family to Nogales, Ariz., and was working in evangelistic work there at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his mother in April, 1942. He leaves j to mourn his untimely death besides his wife and two sons, his aged father, Harry E. Ball of Belleville; three sisters, Mrs. Goldie Beecher of Halfway, Mo., Mrs. Sylva Beecher of Belleville and Mrs. Helen Myers of Kansas City, Kan.; one brother, Cleo Ball Belleville; 11 nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held April 22 at the Wesleyan Methodist church (sic) in Belleville, conducted by the Rev. Marshall Ruthven and the Rev. Amos Rundus with interment in Chester, Neb., cemetery. We shall miss you precious one For all the good you have done And when all this life is o'er We shall meet to part no more.
