Description	:	**Handwritten: 63 HARRY E. LAGLE Harry E. Lagle, 81, died on Thursday, July 25 at 9:45 p.m. at his home five miles south of Selma. He had been ill several months. The son of Henry and Marjorie Parker Lagle, he was born Jan. 14, 1882, at Vernon, Iowa. He spent his adult life farming south of Selma. In 1903, he married Leona Brown at her parents' home near Selma. The son of Henry and Marjorie Parker Lagle, he was born Jan. 14, 1882, at Vernon, Iowa. He spent his adult life farming south of Selma. In 1903, he married Leona Brown at her parents' home near Selma. Mr. and Mrs. Lagle were one of three couples married in the same community on the same day and for many years they celebrated the anniversary with the other couples, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shaffer and Mr. and Mrs. ??? Brodeen. Survivors include his widow, four sons, Paul of Mesa, A__ Glen of Selma, Vern of Eldon and Keith of Floris; two daughters, Mrs. Olive Holcomb of Douds, and Mrs. Edna Perry of Fairfield; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Washburn of Wasco, Calif., and Mrs. Alice Holbert of LePanto, Ark. Mr. Lagle became a Christian and was baptized by the Rev. Mr. Ricks at a Tabernacle Meeting in the Leando Park in 1913. A son, Kenneth, preceded him in death in March, 1962. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Walter and Len and a sister, Mrs. Sadie Washburn also preceded him in death. Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 28 at 2 p.m. at the Douds Christ Methodist church with the Rev. G. Basil Tadlock, pastor officiating. Burial was in the Leando cemetery.
