Read More	HARRY LARSCHIED CRIDERSVILLE — Harry Earl Larschied, 89, passed away February 28, 2015, at 7:30 am, Otterbein of Cridersville. Harry was born February 21, 1926 in Green Bay, WI, to Laurence and Pearl (Dennis) Larschied who preceded him in death. On September 21, 1947 he married Frances Perrine Larschied who preceded him in death on March 27, 2014. Harry started working when he was only 8 years old. When he joined the U.S. Navel Service - Coast Guard on February 16, 1943, he was only 16 years old, and lied about his age to enlist early. Harry was honorably discharged on June 10, 1946. He earned 2 medals while he was in the Coast Guard. One medal was the World War II Victory Medal and the other was the American Area, European - African - Middle Eastern Area Campaign Medal. Harry's favorite occupation was Tool and Die making. He owned and operated 3 successful businesses: Suburban Tool and Die in Elida, Kenton Machine and Tool in Kenton and Harry's Hide Away in Lima. Harry retired to Florida over 30 years ago to pursue his other passion, fishing. He later moved back to Lima, Ohio on May 30, 2013. He was also the world's biggest Green Bay Packers fan. Harry was a fantastic dancer. He loved action movies, watching the stock market, the weather channel and SYFY. His all-time favorite song was "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. Survivors include: Two Daughters, Cindy Larschied, Becky Larschied, Son, Harry L. (Tammi) Larschied. Four Granddaughters, Cheney B. Larschied, Lindsey Grapner, Gabriella Larschied, Grace-Anne Larschied. Two Nephews, Dennis (Gail) Larschied, Lawrence Larschied. Preceded in death by: Brother, James (Frances) Larschied, Sister, Jane (Paul) Vanya, Half Brother, Walter (Clara) Larschied, Niece, Rita Jane Larschied.
