Schoch was born April 23, 1872 at Dayton, O., and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Blanch Hanson of Lincoln, on May 3, 1946 at the age of 74 years and 10 days. When he was two years old, he and his parents moved to Indiana, where they made their home until 1885. Schoch was born April 23, 1872 at Dayton, O., and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Blanch Hanson of Lincoln, on May 3, 1946 at the age of 74 years and 10 days. When he was two years old, he and his parents moved to Indiana, where they made their home until 1885. At that time they came to Nebraska, locating in Lancaster county near Lincoln where Mr. Schoch grew to manhood. In 1903 he was united in marriage with Anna Titus, and to this union were born four children, Harry Ralph of Granfton Neb.; Mrs. Ethel Bellows of Lushton, Neb.; Leland O., Warrant Officer with the Navy at San Diego, Calif.; and Mrs. Hanson, all of whom were present at the funeral. He and his family moved to York county in 1914, where they engaged in farming for several years near Lushton, and later moved to York. Besides his four children, he leaves seven grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Services where held in the Metz chapel in York at 2:30 p.m., Sunday May 5. Burial was in Greenwood. Rev. A. R. Caldwell, a friend of the family, was in charge of the services.
