The service at the grave was conducted by the Rev. Bonte Brussing, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Chariton Iowa, former home of the deceased. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Dunshee Funeral Home in Chariton and burial was in the Robinson Family Lot in the Villisca Cemetery. Mr. Robinson, whose widow is a sister of Mrs. F. S. Williams of Villisca and of E. L. C. White of Spencer. He was formerly one of the owners of The Review, was born February 5, 1867 at Forest City, Missouri and was married September 11, 1895 to Miss Lillian White at Fairfax, Missouri. To them were born three children, Hugh, who died in 1924, Mrs. Margaret Tenant of Lamont, Iowa and Miss Clair Robinson of Des Moines. The two daughters, with the mother survive. Mr. Robinson came with his family to Villisca in 1905 and engaged in the dry good business, later becoming an associate in that business here with F. L. Hadicek. Their store was destroyed by fire and Mr. Robinson went to Chariton in 1912 where he was manager of a Spurgeon Mercantile Co. Store. He later engaged in the variety store business for himself in Chariton, continuing in that business until 1940, when he retired and he and his family moved to Des Moines to make their home. Mr. Robinson was a life long member of the Presbyterian Church, in which he was an active worker, serving in an official capacity for many years. Here from a distance for the graveside rites Monday morning were Mrs. Robinson and daughters from Des Moines, the other daughter, Mrs. Tenant of Lamoni, and Mrs. Robinson’s brother, and wife, Mr. and Mrs. E.
