Description	:	Harry Henning Anderson was born February 12, 1922, in Milford, Nebraska to Ollie & Anna (Plessel) Anderson, the 6th of 8 children and passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Crestview Care Center in Milford at the age of 88 years 4 months and 22 days. As a young boy, Harry attended Milford Public School, graduating with the class of 1940. He enlisted into the US Army in 1942 and served overseas in Germany, helping among other things to liberate Buchenwald Concentration Camp in Germany. Read More	Harry Henning Anderson was born February 12, 1922, in Milford, Nebraska to Ollie & Anna (Plessel) Anderson, the 6th of 8 children and passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Crestview Care Center in Milford at the age of 88 years 4 months and 22 days. As a young boy, Harry attended Milford Public School, graduating with the class of 1940. He enlisted into the US Army in 1942 and served overseas in Germany, helping among other things to liberate Buchenwald Concentration Camp in Germany. After his discharge in 1946, he returned to Nebraska where he was employed as a worker with the Burlington Northern Railroad. Before retiring, Harry also worked for the Civil Service as a janitor at Fitzsimmons Hospital in Denver, CO , and the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He returned to Milford where he did various jobs- helping to serve his community by mowing residential yards and local businesses. Harry was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, was active in the church choir, and enjoyed participated in the Men's singing group, "Relative Harmony" for several years. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Randy Lee and Rhonda Lee Anderson, Fairhope, Alabama; granddaughters, Maura Jean Lynn, Brandi Ann Lynn and Tiffany Lee Anderson, all of Fairhope, AL; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Andrew Anderson, Fairmont, Alvin Anderson, Milford, Charles and Beverly Anderson, Lincoln; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Alfred, sisters, Edith Jantzi, Hannah Allison and Mabel Hoge.
