He passed away on May 18, 2003 at Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 2 days. Harry attended school in Ruskin, NE. He was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in Superior. On June 24, 1945 he was united in marriage to Laura Mae Malsbury at Mankato, KS and this union was blessed with one son Michael. Harry's life centered around his family and his love of farming. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Aage and Louise Jensen, step-mother, Esther Jensen and one brother Herman. He is survived by his wife Laura of Superior, one son, Michael and wife Jan of Superior, two grandchildren, Shelly Steinkruger and husband Scot of Juniata, NE and Stacey Bearinger and husband Chad of Lincoln, NE. Two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Kenna Steinkruger. He is also survived by three brothers, Kenneth and wife Dorothy of Gretna, NE, Phillip of Trumbull, NE Lloyd and wife Pat of Lakewood, CO and three sisters, Edith Meyer of Superior, NE Betty Patton of Vacaville, CA and Diane Gardner of Formoso, KS along with a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 22, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, NE with Pastor Richard Fairbanks officiating. Music was "Footprints" and "The Old Rugged Cross", with Stephanie Thayer as soloist and Carlita Price as organist. Pallbearers were Don Hansen, Craig Malsbury, Rick Stenson, Paul Jensen, Wayne Gardner and Stan Meyer. Honorary pallbearers were William Schriever, Dean McGowan. Leonard Erickson, Bill Corman, Fred Huffman and Larry Beavers. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, NE. Memorials may go in care of the family's choice.
