He married Elverna Higbee on 7 Feb 1911 in Seattle, King, Washington. They had eight children, Alice Belva, Edith Vivian, Gerald Leroy, Elsie Lucille, Harry Richard, John Marion, Ellen Verna and Margie Jean. He married Elverna Higbee on 7 Feb 1911 in Seattle, King, Washington. Harry died of a heart attack on 8 Sep 1949 in Pendleton, Umatilla, Oregon and was buried on 13 Sep 1949 in the Fall City Cemetery. Dairy Farmer, Hermiston, dies Harry LeRoy Totten, 64, Hermiston dairy farmer, died at St. Anthony's hospital Thursday after several months of sickness. Funeral services will be held at the Hermiston Methodist Church Monday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Alfred Vosper. He will be buried at Fall City, Wash. Burns Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He is survived by his wife - Elverna, Hermiston; three sons – Gerald, in the navy in Alaska; Harry, Boardman; John Clearwater, Calif.; four daughters – Alice Maki, Great Falls, Mont.; Edith Walker, Silver Creek, Wash.; Elsie Thompson, Hermiston; and Margie Totten, Hermiston. A brother, Earl Totten, lives in Port Angeles, Wash. His four sisters are Mrs. Floyd Potter, Philadelphia, Pa.; Mrs. Geraldine McClintock, Olympia, Wash.; and Mrs. Alice Anderson and Mrs. Lillian Deputy, Great Falls, Mont. There are 14 grandchildren living. Mr. Totten came to Hermiston three years ago. He was a member of Columbia Grange and IOOF.
