Martin, a passenger, was not injured. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Key-McCabe Funeral Home of Jacksonville, are incomplete. DROM THE FILES OF DORA NORTH NAME OF NEWSPAPER UNKNOWN JUNE 21, 1951 LONG BRANCH HARRY PADGETT Saturday night tragedy struck in our neighborhood again in the death of one of our neighborhood young men, Harry Padgett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Padgett. Harry and his brother-in-law were out joy riding. Harry was driving the car which belonged to his brother-in-law, Robert Martin, when the car went out of control just in front of Sam Saunders' residence in Middleburg, injuring Harry fatally. He passed into the unknown on Sunday morning at about 10:30. He was 26 years of age and has been a resident of Clay Hill of his life. He leaves his wife, Lillian; two children, Vivian and Andrew; his mother and father Eugene and Susan; three sisters, Mrs. Lavina Martin of Starke and Rosa Lee and Lizzie Padgett of Clay Hill; 6 brothers, Willie, U.S. Army, J. T., Tracy, Martin, Luther and O. J. all of Clay Hill; his grandmother, Aunt Babe Padgett; as well as friends and other relatives to mourn his departure.
