Description	:	The Recorder January 1, 1975 Harry St. George Bird, a retired farmer, died Saturday,' Dec. 20 in King's Daughters' Hospital. Mr. Bird was born in Valley Center (near Mill Gap),Nov. 9, 1889, the son of David O. and Lillie Shumate Bird. He was a member of Green Hill United Methodist Church and a charter member of Mill Gap Ruritan Club. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jessie C. Bird; two sons, Warren and Eugene Bird, both of Monterey; three brothers, Ernest of Atlanta, Ga., Arthur and Forrest Bird, both of Richmond; one sister, Mrs. T. J. Diamond of Churchville;...
