Description	:	Harvey Edward Richards was born May 2, 1884, near Corning, Iowa, and passed away August 13, 1044, at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 11 days. When he was eight years old his parents movd to Kansas where he lived until his return to Adams county at the age of eighteen years. Read More	Harvey Edward Richards was born May 2, 1884, near Corning, Iowa, and passed away August 13, 1044, at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 11 days. When he was eight years old his parents movd to Kansas where he lived until his return to Adams county at the age of eighteen years. On March 14, 1907, he was united in marriage with Carrie Ethel Bunting. Three children were born to this union, two of whom died at birth. Since 1909 Harvey, with his family, made his home on a farm near Bridgewater. He was a member of Armistice Lodge No. 641 A.F.&A.M., and was active in the work of that order. He served as director in the former Bridgewater Farmers Co-Operative Co., for a number of years, and for a time was the manager of the firm's produce station. Surviving are his widow; on son, Vern M., of near Bridgewater; a daughter-in-law, Myrtle, and one grandchild, Margaret Irene; two brothers, William A., of Chicago, and Kenneth V., of Cottage Grove, Oregon, and one sister, Mrs. Laura Carley, of Lyndon, Kansas; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends and neighbors to whom his going is a real sorrow.
