Born March 16, 1912, east of Morning Sun, she was the daughter of Samuel and Hattie Mae Moyers Walker. She was married January 19, 1952, at Burlington to William L. Brumm. Survivors include her husband; a son, Dennis William, at home; three sisters, Miss Elsie Walker, Hale, Missouri, Mrs. Maude M. Fortner, Knoxville, Iowa, Mrs. Z. Myrtle Dotson, West Burlington; four brothers, George P. Walker, New London, Clifford Walker, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Samuel Walker, Cedar Rapids, William Walker, Marion; also two half sisters, Mrs. Viola Van Houten, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Mrs. Marjorie Kimble, Morning Sun; and a half brother, Robert Walker, Victoria, Texas. Two brothers, a sister, one half sister, one half brother, and her parents predeceased her. Mrs. Brumm was a member of the United Presbyterian church of New London. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Elliott Chapel. Friends may call at the Chapel Thursday evening. The Reverend James Edwards will officiate.
