Description	:	Hazel E. Prescott, 84, died March 29 in Jamestown. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 2 in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, McHenry with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery there. Hazel Lott was born October 8, 1900 in Eldora, Iowa, daughter of the late John and Orla (Barnes) Lott. She moved with her family to the McHenry community as a young girl, and received her education in rural McHenry schools. She was married to Willie Prescott at Carrington April 22, 1919. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 2 in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, McHenry with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery there. Hazel Lott was born October 8, 1900 in Eldora, Iowa, daughter of the late John and Orla (Barnes) Lott. She moved with her family to the McHenry community as a young girl, and received her education in rural McHenry schools. She was married to Willie Prescott at Carrington April 22, 1919. They farmed in the McHenry, Juanita, Binford and Sutton areas for many years. In 1964 they retired and moved to Sutton. Mr. Prescott died in 1982, and in 1983 she moved to Jamestown. Since April 1984, she has made her home at a nursing home there. Survivors include three daughters, Ethel Kolstad, Warwick; Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Hunsberger, Sutton; and Mrs. Robert (Gertrude) Phelps, Billings, Mont.; a son, James Prescott, Jamestown. Two sisters, Mrs. Art (Edna) Midgley, McHenry and Mrs. Harold (Orla) Wagner, Chinook, Mont.; a brother, John Lott, Clearwater, Minn.; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Preceding her in death besides those previously mentioned were a son, two grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers. Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
