She was born Oct. 14, 1907, in Lineville [sic] to Lee and Iva Rae Gail Hoswell. She married Frank Joseph Gee on Oct. 14, 1925, in Ottumwa. He died March 21, 1979. A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she was a member of First Assembly of God Church and Dorcas Circle of the church. She was a volunteer for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Lou Decker and Inez Swinscoe of Ottumwa; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Opel Prusek of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Gee; three sisters, Nellie Patrick, Wilma Fullmer and Vera Jackson; a brother, Roy Hoswell; and a great-granddaughter. The service will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church in Ottumwa, the Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa. The family will be at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to her church.
