Surviving Mr. Michaelis are 2 daughters, Mrs. Ted "Nora" Koerner and Mrs. Boyd "Millie" Cook of Lincoln; a son, Norman Michaelis of Liberty, Nebraska; 3 sisters, Mrs. Emma Phelps of Sidney, Nebr., Mrs. Ida Blinde of Beatrice, Nebr., and Mrs. Robert Mitchell of Omaha, Nebr; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. The funeral was held in the Martin Luther church. He was buried at Martin Luther Cemetery. He reached the age of 82 years, nine onths and 17 days.
