He was married to Miss Katharina Falter in 1863 who died in April 1900. Of this union were born seven children: Henry G, Michael, Louis, Jacob, Mrs. Wm. Rummel of Plattsmouth, Mrs. John Hoferer and Mrs. Willie Falter. Read More	Heinrich Hoffart March 29, 1838-Oct 31, 1913 The Creighton Liberal, Noember 13, 1913 Henry Hoffart Henry Hoffart was born March 28, 1838, in Kirch-Brambach, Hessen-Darmstadt, Germany. He was married to Miss Katharina Falter in 1863 who died in April 1900. Of this union were born seven children: Henry G, Michael, Louis, Jacob, Mrs. Wm. Rummel of Plattsmouth, Mrs. John Hoferer and Mrs. Willie Falter. In the year 1883 he emigrated with the rest of his family , two of his sons having come in 1880 and 1881, to this country, arriving at Plattsmouth, Nebraska, where he lived till 1903, and removed them to his latest home in Eden Valley, Pierce County. Death came almost without warning, Mr. Hoffart being only slightly ill for two days. He was troubled with weakness of the heart for a number of years, this being the direct cause of his death, which occurred on October 31st, 1913 at 1 o'clock a.m. He was buried in Eden Valley Cemetery Sunday afternoon. Services were held at the German Lutheran Church, Rev. Voelzke officiating. Mr. Hoffart was well known and universally liked. A host of friends numbering over 500 came to pay the last tribute to the departed.
