Description	:	Helen A. Eberhart, age 95, passed away March 3, 2016, at 7:05 am, at the Baton Rouge Nursing Home. Helen was born October 3, 1920 in Lima, OH, to Ora S. and Molly I. E. (Underwood) Barrett Sr. who preceded her in death. On December 24, 1951 she married Robert E. Eberhart Sr. who preceded her in death on February 9, 2003. Helen had... Read More	Helen A. Eberhart, age 95, passed away March 3, 2016, at 7:05 am, at the Baton Rouge Nursing Home. Helen was born October 3, 1920 in Lima, OH, to Ora S. and Molly I. E. (Underwood) Barrett Sr. who preceded her in death. On December 24, 1951 she married Robert E. Eberhart Sr. who preceded her in death on February 9, 2003. Helen was a 1939 graduate of the Lima South High School. She had also received an associates degree in accounting from the LaSalle University. When she was younger she had worked at Mohler's Flowers. Helen had also worked as a supervisor in the requisition and receiving of materials department at the Lima Tank Depot where she met and fell in love with her husband. After four months of courtship they were wed and remained married for 51 years. Then in 1968 she took a position with Pepsi Cola and worked there as a cashier until she retired in 1983. Helen was a long time member of the First Church of God. She will be remembered as a woman that loved the Lord and loved her family. Helen is survived by a son, Robert E. Eberhart Jr. of Lima, OH, a daughter, Brenda (Terry) Anderson of Elida, OH, 4 grandchildren; Nicole M. Eberhart of Lima, OH, Tony (Lesa) Anderson, Tyson (Janelle) Anderson and Terry (Paula) Anderson, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Paul Barrett, Ora Barrett Jr. and Charles Barrett, 4 sisters; Alma Flarida, Ruth Shoemaker, Gladys Mechling and Bertha Yoakam. A funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Crossroads Church of God at the Crossroads. Officiating the service will be Rev. Brian Robertson. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. Friends may call on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.
