Services will be at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 18, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, Iowa. Burial will in St. Francis Cemetery, Dyersville. She received her education in the rural Farley country schools. She married Charles P. "C.P." Georgen on June 18, 1939, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dubuque; he preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1988. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Farley, and a member of it's Altar and Rosary Society. Helen was devoted to her faith and her family and took great pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are two sons, John (Robin O'Brien) Georgen, of Minneapolis, and Steve (Mary Kay) Georgen, of Farley; four grandchildren, John (Stephanie) Georgen Jr., Nick (Stephanie Schulte) Georgen, Kate (Matt) Link and Lisa Georgen; four great-grandchildren, Maleah, Jacob, Jack and Jay Georgen; and a sister, Anita Wolf, of Dubuque. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Judith Ann Georgen, on March 29, 1948; two brothers, Cletus and Joseph Boge; and two sisters, Janette and Kathryn Boge.
