She entered the hospital last Friday. Respiratory failure was given as the cause of death. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Lowry Funeral Home, Elder Emery of the Seventh-Day Adventist church of Bozeman officiating. Music was by Mrs. E. C. Egbert of the Mt. Ellis Academy in Bozeman who sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," and Clair Way also of Bozeman, who sang "Sweet Be Thy Rest." They were accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Mervin Sel. Pallbearers were Clarence Rostad, Claude Doig, Tom Lomeland, Mike Breck, Bill Hahn of Livingston and Bryon Manley. Interment was in Mountain view. Mrs. Brown was born Feb. 22, 1929, in Big Timber and received her education in the Big Timber schools, She married Harold Brown Oct. 11, 1952, in Big Timber. They had resided in Livingston for the past year. Mr. Brown being employed by the Downer Lumber company there. Survivors include her husband, her parents and one sister, Mrs. Joe Soldat of Richland, Wash. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter who died June 1, 1954. The body of the baby was removed from the Livingston cemetery and buried in Big Timber beside the grave of her mother. Contributor: Julia Kinsey (48922386) •
