She graduated from Adams High School in Adams, Gage County, Nebraska. She took Normal training during high school which qualified her to teach elementary school. Read More	She was born on the family farm in rural Adams, Gage County, Nebraska. She received her elementary education in a Gage County country school near her home. She graduated from Adams High School in Adams, Gage County, Nebraska. She took Normal training during high school which qualified her to teach elementary school. As a young woman she, taught at several country schools in the area before she married. She was elected to the Panama public school board and served there until the school became a part of the Norris public school. She served on the Pella Reformed Church consistory and was involved in the music ministry at Pella. She also taught piano lessons in her home up until 6 months before she died. Helen Isabelle Revis and Leal G. Doeschot, son of Garret Doeschot and Gusta Vanderbeek, were married on 19 May 1944 at First Baptist Church, in Adams, Gage County, Nebraska. They owned and operated a family farm, in the Pella community, located at highway 43 and Princeton road NE corner until their retirement. They were involved in 4-H, Youth for Christ and other organizations that family members were involve in. They enjoyed traveling and attending many of the activities of their grandchildren. They lived in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska in retirement. They were active members of the Pella Reformed Church, Pella, Lancaster County, Nebraska. During her life her motto was "what can I do to help."
