Description	:	Helen J. Prochaska, 78, of Hooper, formerly of Fremont, died Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Hooper Care Center. She was born May 23, 1932, in Fremont to Claude and Anna (Clayton) Temple. She grew up in Fremont and attended Fremont Public Schools. She married John P. Prochaska on Aug. 16, 1952, in Fremont. After her marriage, she lived in Fremont and the surrounding area, including Brainard and Bruno. The couple lived in numerous places throughout the United States. Prochaska, 78, of Hooper, formerly of Fremont, died Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Hooper Care Center. She was born May 23, 1932, in Fremont to Claude and Anna (Clayton) Temple. She grew up in Fremont and attended Fremont Public Schools. She married John P. Prochaska on Aug. 16, 1952, in Fremont. After her marriage, she lived in Fremont and the surrounding area, including Brainard and Bruno. The couple lived in numerous places throughout the United States. She was a homemaker but occasionally worked as a cook, waitress and bartender. She loves fishing, cooking, reading, drawing and singing with her family and friends. Her husband preceded her in death April 14, 2008. Survivors include her daughters, Claudea (and husband, Bobby) Johnson of Amarillo, Texas, Dieseree (and husband, Steve) Ranslem of Winslow and Lorry Ferris of Hastings; sons, John (and wife, Jean) Prochaska of Beech Grove, Ind., Clifford (and wife, Teri) Prochaska of Columbus and William Prochaska; a sister, Triva (and husband, Joe) Kotik of Fremont; brother-in-law, August (and wife, Donnetta) Prochaska of Fremont; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, John Peter Prochaska; a grandson, a granddaughter, a brother, Charles Temple and five sisters, Eleanor Roos, Mary Kotik, Lorraine Knowells and infants Patricia and Diane Temple. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Vitalis E. Anyanike of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Hooper will officiate. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. today and 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 6-7:30 p.m. today, all at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery at Prague. A memorial has been established to Odyssey Hospice at Fremont.
