Services were July 14 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Clay Center with Pastor John Green officiating. Interment was in the Fairfield cemetery (sic). Services were July 14 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Clay Center with Pastor John Green officiating. Interment was in the Fairfield cemetery (sic). Mrs Miles was born Oct 8, 1922 to John and Unice (Kempf) Miles. She lived in Spring Ranch until 1939 when her family moved to Fairfield. In 1963, she moved to Hastings. She was involved with the Hope training school for many years and employed with the Potato Chip Factory in Hastings and later Good Samaritan Village in Hastings until she retired. In 2006, she moved to Omaha and lived at the Wellington in Papillion until her death. Mrs Miles known for her many craft works which included hand made braided rugs. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her nephew, Gary C Miles and wife Eilene of Omaha; niece Linda Miller of S.C.; great-nephews, Robert E Miles and wife Marcy of Gretna; Larry C Miles and wife Janice of Papillion; Angela Masterson and husband Eston of Red Oak, Texas; Richard Miles and wife Kyra of California; great-niece, Theresa Miles of New Mexico; great great-niece Ashley Miles; and great great-nephews, Cory Miles of Omaha, NE Andrew of Calif., Tyler Masterson of Red Oak, Texas; Jeremy Matterson of Red Oak, Texas; Evan Miles of Papillion; Brandon Masterson of Red Oak, Texas; Michael Hansen of Crete; Joshua Miles of Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lester Miles and Robert Miles; sister-in-law, Doris Miles; nephew, Clarence Miles and is wife Judy.
