Description	:	FORT FAIRFIELD - Helen M. Brayall Chambers, 98, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, June 19, 2008, at a Presque Isle health care facility, after a brief illness. She was born June 9, 1910, in Port Lorne, Nova Scotia, the daughter of Soloman and Susan (Haskins) Sabine. Helen was raised by a loving family, the Hardacre's of Perth, New Brunswick, and was married to Lowell Garent Brayall in 1932, who predeceased her six years later in 1938. Brayall Chambers, 98, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, June 19, 2008, at a Presque Isle health care facility, after a brief illness. She was born June 9, 1910, in Port Lorne, Nova Scotia, the daughter of Soloman and Susan (Haskins) Sabine. Helen was raised by a loving family, the Hardacre's of Perth, New Brunswick, and was married to Lowell Garent Brayall in 1932, who predeceased her six years later in 1938. Helen was later married to George L. Chambers in 1972, who predeceased her in 1996. Helen and George lived in Maine, Florida, Rhode Island, and Nova Scotia. She eventually moved back to Rhode Island for five years, finally returning to Fort Fairfield to live out her life with her daughter, Dawn and son-in-law, Peter, right next door to her. Helen started working at a very young age, working for Flannery Farms cooking and cleaning for the crew. She was employed by Plymouth Hotel, Fort Fairfield, as head chef for 15 years. Helen moved on to work at Northeastland Hotel, Presque Isle, for many years. She served her community tirelessly for Fort Fairfield VFW Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187 Ladies Auxiliary, as a life member and was a member of the Sunshine Club. In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Chambers was predeceased by two sons, Ralph G. Brayall in 1990 and Wilfred H. Brayall in 1957; three brothers, Arthur, Gordon and Thomas Sabine; and one sister, Lillian Smith. She is survived by one son, Gary E. Brayall; one daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Peter Piscatello, all of Fort Fairfield. She has been surrounded by her many loving grandchildren for the past 50 years, Jodie R. Pineda of Central Falls, R.I., Matthew W. Brayall and his wife, Deborah, of North Scituate, R.I., Mark G. Brayall and his wife, Melissa, of Pawtucket, R.I., Lisa M. Loomis and her husband, Darren, of Putney, Vt., Robin L. Burnett and her husband, Rick, of Fountain Inn, S.C., Brenda L. Dyer and her husband, Rick, of Easton, David M. Belanger and his wife, Robin, of Fort Fairfield, Ralph L. Brayall of Mauldin, S.C., Christine D. Moscatelli and her husband, William, of Middletown, Conn., Beth Ann Provencher and her husband, Eric, of Central Falls, R.I., and Katrina M. Brayall of Mauldin, S.C.; 31 great-grandchildren, three great- great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Private interment will take place at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
