Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Helen died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Elim Rehab and Care Center in Fargo. Helen Mae Morrison, daughter of Lyle Eugene and Lois Bernice (Templeton) Morrison was born February 11, 1926 near Wessington in Hand County, SD. She attended rural school and graduated from Miller High School with the class of 1944. She then attended Northern State Teachers College where she obtained a Teacher's Certificate. Helen taught school at St. Lawrence, Conde, Miller, Clark and later in Missoula, MT and then in Maryland while her husband was stationed there during the Korean War. Helen was united in marriage to Otto Kramlich on February 27, 1953 in Henderson, KY. In 1958 they moved to Eureka where Otto was a dentist. Helen was a substitute teacher and worked at the Eureka Medical Clinic for a short time. Helen was involved in community events. She enjoyed sewing and working in her garden and yard. She loved to travel to visit her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, WELCA and former church council member. She had been on the board of directors of the Hospital Auxiliary and Eureka Pioneer Museum, also, a past President of Eureka PTA and American Legion Auxiliary and a member of Eureka Study Club. Helen is survived by three daughters, Mary Kramlich, Ann (Wayne) Shipley and Barbara (John) Phelps; one son, Tom Kramlich; three sisters, Ruth Fratzke, Roberta Harvey and Carolyn (Walter) Gutzmer and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and two sisters. Carlsen Funeral Home of Eureka has been entrusted with arrangements.
