Visitation continues 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Helen Marie Hults, 92, of Nashua, died Saturday, Sept. 14, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital, Charles City. She was born June 8, 1921, in Bradford, daughter of Harvey and Kathyrne Nicholson Vanston, and after the death of her mother when she was 5 years old, was raised by her father and Grandma Nicholson. She married Iven Hults on April 15, 1945, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Hults graduated from Nashua High School in 1938, then earned a teaching certificate. She taught in rural country schools from 1938 to 1944. She later worked for the Nashua Community School District, driving school buses, retiring in 1998 after 23 years. She also worked in the office for Nashua Plumbing and Heating for 10 years. She was a member of United Methodist Church. Survived by: two sons, Dan (Peggy) of Ottumwa and David (Marilyn) of Murrysville, Pa.; a daughter, Kathy Hults of Nashua; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: her parents. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Nashua, with burial Beckwith Cemetery, rural Colwell. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home - Olson Chapel, Nashua, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
