She came to Kansas with her parents in 1891 and settled in Wells town- ship. She was married to Oliver C. Wells on May 25, 1893 who preceded her in death in 1934. Read More	Frankfort, Kansas, Index Thursday, February 22, 1951 Helen Warren was born August 25, 1873 and passed away at the home of her granddaughter Mrs. Daniel Paden in Marysville, Kansas on February 2, 1951 at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 8 days. She came to Kansas with her parents in 1891 and settled in Wells town- ship. She was married to Oliver C. Wells on May 25, 1893 who preceded her in death in 1934. To this union was born six children. two died in early life and a daughter, Anna passed away 25 years ago, leaving a family of small children. She took the two girls and raised them as her own. Mrs. Wells was one of six children; four sisters and one brother, having preceded her in death. At an early age she joined the Christian Church later becoming a member of the Methodist Church at Barrett, Kansas. She always was willing to help and take an active part in the community affairs. For the last ten years she was handicapped by the loss of her eyesight. To know Mrs. Wells was to love her. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her death two daughters Mrs. Margaret Jenkins, Blue Rapids, Kansas Mrs. Betty Jones, Irving, Kansas; and one son, Mark Wells, Minneapolis, Kansas; two granddaughters and ten grandsons. Burial was in the Wells Cemetery, southwest of Frankfort, Kansas.
