OBITUARY: Mrs. Helen Snoberger Helen L. Snoberger, was born in Clay County, Nebraska on May 15, 1905, the daughter of Thomas and Jessie Hartzell Meyer. Her death occurred at Lincoln, Nebraska on April 12, 1981 at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 27 days. The first five years of her life were spent in Clay County and then moved with her parents to Hamilton County, where she has since resided. She was educated in the public schools in the Hampton vicinity. Helen was a longtime member of the United Brethren Church, now united into the United Methodist Church. She was always active in church affairs and attendance. She was also active in various clubs and organizations. On August 12, 1925 she was united in marriage to Ralph Snoberger at the home of her parents. They farmed south of Aurora for a time and then moved to a farm near Phillips. They farmed there for several years before moving to the farm one mile north of Aurora, where they farmed until 1975, when they retired and moved into their present home in Aurora. One son and one daughter blessed their home. Her parents and one brother, Donald Meyer had preceded her in death. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, Ralph; one son Glade Snoberger of Aurora; one daughter Mrs. Sharon Nissen of Grand Island, Nebraska; six grandchildren and other relatives and many close friends and neighbors.
