Meyers, son of Christian and Johanna Meyer, was born in Sycamore, DeKalk Co., Ill., and came with his parents to a farm one mile west of Eldorado, Nebr., where he grew to manhood. During his childhood he was baptized in the Sharonville Lutheran Church. On June 1, 1902 he was united in marriage to Jessie Hartell of Inland, Nebr. To this marriage were born two children, Mrs. Helen Snoberger of Aurora and Donald Meyer of Blue Hill, Nebr. Mr. and Mrs. Meyer were engaged in farming in Clay and Hamilton counties until 1931. They then moved to Inland Nebr. In 1936 Mr. Meyer became foreman for the Abel Construction of Lincoln Nebr., which he followed until his death on Nov. 15, at Coleridge. His parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, two children, three grandchildren, two brothers; Fred of Santa Monica, California, and Frank of Texas; nieces, nephews and many friends. Tommy, as he was know by his friends, had a sunny disposition and was held in high esteem by his fellow workers. Pallbearers were his fellow workers; Ralph Crear, F.A. Scott, H.E.
