Description	:	BEST, Helena Blanche - 89, Windsor, formally of Nictaux Falls, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 15, 2003, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Centerville, Digby Co., she was the daughter of the late Byron and Susan (Cossaboom) Prime. Helena was employed with the Town Of Middleton, working in the business office, she retired in 1978 serving 20 plus years on staff. A long-time member and supporter of Nictaux Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, Sunday school superintendent, choir member and one of the founding members of the Nictaux Friendly Club. Helena will be greatly and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are daughters, Maxine (Donald) Whynot, Windsor; Ethel Bramston, Burlington, Ont.; Mary Redden, Bridgewater; Anna (William) Richards, Windsor; son, Eugene (Carol) Best, Estevan, Sask.; sisters, Violet White, Middleton; Florence Veinot, Torbrook; Anna (Felix) Doucette, New Edinburg; brother, Melbourne Prime, Peterbourgh, Ont.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Helena was predeceased by her husband, Everett Best; sisters, Ida Dakin, Christina Cann, Edith Prime and son, Gordon Prime. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 16, at 11 a.m. in Nictaux Baptist Church, Rev. Ron Baxter assisted by Rev. Bill McLeod will officiate with a private family internment in Nictaux Cemetery. There will be a reception following the service in Nictaux Christian Center. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory of the late Helena Best may be made to Nictaux Baptist Church Sunday School, Friends Of Dykeland Lodge or a charity of one's choice.
