Description	:	Mrs. Alex (Helena) Schley, 91, of Stratford, died Wednesday, May 14, at the Bethesda Home of Aberdeen. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stratford with the Rev. William Paepke of Mansfield officiating. Burial will be in the East Rondell Cemetery, rural Stratford. The Gates-Vik Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will begin Thursday at the funeral home. Helena Stange was born Oct. 3, 1888, on a farm near Stratford. She grew up there and married Alex J. Schley Jan. 28, 1914. They made their home on a farm in the Stratford area until 1949 when they moved into Stratford. Mr. Schley died Feb. 18, 1980. Mrs. Schley had resided at the Bethesda Home since 1976. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Women. Survivors include four sons, Kermit and Duane, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; LaVerne and Clarence, both of Stratford; two brothers, Paul Stange Sr. and Ewald Stange, both of Aberdeen; one sister, Mrs. Albert (Erna) Lorenz, of Groton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
