Description	:	Mrs Wm. R. Craighead, 86, died Sunday at 2 am at the home of her daughter, Mrs J.W. Hunt, southeast of Villisca, her death resulting from the infirmities of old age. Helen Phillips, daughter of Leamon and Lucina Yates Phillips, was born near Cairo, Ill., on May 12, 1846, and came to Iowa with her parents when she was 8 years old. She was married to Wm. R. Read More	Mrs Wm. R. Craighead, 86, died Sunday at 2 am at the home of her daughter, Mrs J.W. Hunt, southeast of Villisca, her death resulting from the infirmities of old age. Helen Phillips, daughter of Leamon and Lucina Yates Phillips, was born near Cairo, Ill., on May 12, 1846, and came to Iowa with her parents when she was 8 years old. She was married to Wm. R. Besides her husband, Mrs Craighead leaves two daughters, Mrs Lucina Murray of Grand Valley, Colo., Mrs J.W. Hunt of Villisca, two sons, Frank W. Craighead of Clarinda and Isaac N. Craighead of Palo Alto, Calif., one sister, Mrs Sue McClain of Coffeyville, Kas., two brothers, Hiram Phillips of Villisca and Frank Phillips of Onamia, Minn., fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Mrs Craighead was a member of the Baptist church. Following her death her body was taken to the Fessler & Sutphen funeral home where it remained until the funeral which was held Monday at 2 pm in the Christian church, conducted by the Rev L.B. Carpenter. The singing was by the Misses Eva Arbuckle and Doris McMahon, with Mrs Anna Freeman at the piano, and the pallbearers were Tom Overman, T.J. Wright, J.A. Whitney, Pete Larson and Jas.
