Description	:	H.W. Huitink, pioneer farmer of the Sioux Center vicinity passed away at 7:00 o'clock Saturday morning. Although he had not been in the best of health for several years, he had performed his usual tasks on the day preceding his death. He has lived in the Sioux Center and Orange City vicinities for 42 years. He was one of the first members of the First Ref. church, which he has served faithfully as deacon and elder for many years. He has lived in the Sioux Center and Orange City vicinities for 42 years. He was one of the first members of the First Ref. church, which he has served faithfully as deacon and elder for many years. Mr. Huitink was born in Alten, Netherlands, 70 years ago and came as a young man to this country in the year 1883. He was married a year later at Orange City to Miss Dora Te Reitstap. He is survived by Mrs. Huitink and 8 children, Mrs. Hattie Te Slaa of Hull, Gerrit of Orange City, Mrs. Will Vande Berg, Sioux Center, Mrs. J.H. Ver Meer, Sioux Center, Mrs. Al Mulder, Hull, Mrs. Nick Huisman, Orange City, Henry on the home place and Will of Orange City. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the home at 12:30 and at 2:00 in the First Ref. of Sioux Center. Rev. Lubbers in charge.
