Read More	Henrietta Christina Salyers, daughter of William and Malinda Salyers, was born at St. Charles, Madison county, July 31, 1856, and passed away at her home hear Spring Hill, Jan. 29, 1931, aged 74 years, 5 months and 29 days. In October, 1879, she was united in marriage to Noah Franklin Wood. To this union were born seven children: J Franklin and Grover B. who passed away several years ago, Edward R. of Spring Hill, Malinda G. of Des Moines, Emmett W. of Prole, Curtis W. and Eugene P. of Spring Hill. Besides her husband and children she leaves to mourn her passing: Fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, two brothers, Edward Salyers and William Salyers, both of Norwalk, a number of other relatives and a host of friends. Mrs. Frank Wood was united with the Church of Christ at Spring Hill in 1900 and was a charter member. She was a kind and loving mother and was dearly loved by all. She was always ready to go and help with sickness and wherever she was needed. She has been ailing for the past three years, and was a patient sufferer. Sleep on beloved. Sleep and take thy rest. Lay down they head upon thy Saviour's breast. We loved thee well but Jesus loved thee best. Goodnight, Goodnight, Goodnight. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Simpson, of Earlham, at Spring Hill Church of Christ, Jan. 31, 1931, with interment at Webb cemetery. Card of Thanks: Mr. N.F. Wood and family take this opportunity of expressing their thanks and appreciation to their many dear friends and neighbors for the flowers, sympathy and many kindnesses shown, during their time of sorrow. # # # Spring Hill, Feb. 2 – A large crowd attended the funeral of Mrs. Frank Woods. Services were held at the Christian church Saturday at 2 o'clock and she was laid to rest in the Webb cemetery. The family has the sympathy of the community.
