Marcg 22, 1917, the daughter of Georga (Starnes) and John Aaron Maples. They moved to Cane Hill, Ark. where she received her education. As a teenager she moved to Springdale, Ark. where she later worked as a beautician for many years. Marcg 22, 1917, the daughter of Georga (Starnes) and John Aaron Maples. They moved to Cane Hill, Ark. where she received her education. As a teenager she moved to Springdale, Ark. where she later worked as a beautician for many years. She was very active in the church and attended the Assembly of God, where she met and married Gene Fields June 29, 1946. The young coupled moved to Sunnyside in 1952 to make their home and build their family. They continued to live there happily until her passing. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gene Fields of Sunnyside; one son, Ed Fields and wife, Julia, of Cashmere; one grandson, Lorin Fields of Venice, Calif; two grandaughters; Wendi Fields of Davis, Calif, and Jennir Wenrich of Powhatan, Va; and two great gransons. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Raymond; and one sister Maedell.
