Description	:	Henrietta Lahrman's maiden last name was likely Kreinhagen. Her son John Lahrman's death certificate listed her as Henrietta Fenchan or Ferchan; her daughter Sarah's death certificate lists her as Henryetta Canhagan or possibly Cranhgran. It is possible that Henrietta's parents were Gerhard Wilhelm Meier Kreinhagen and Catharine Kreinhagen or Anna Maria Charlotta Kreinhagen. From the 1880 Federal census, there are two daughters - Caroline aged 17 (born about 1863) and Louisa aged 4 (born about 1876) for which nothing can be found. OBITUARY: Mrs. Henrietta Lahrman, wife of Banhard Lahrman, died at her home, about three miles west of here, Monday morning, November 7, 1898, of bowel trouble, after a two weeks' illness. She was well known in this community. She was born in Hanover, Germany, March 5th, 1830, and came to this country in 1845. She was united in marriage to Banhard Lahrman in 1850, and to their union were born eight children, six of whom are still living; viz: Henry, George, Lizzie, Sophie, Frank and John. She was a member of the German Lutheran church. The funeral services were held at the family residence, Tuesday afternoon, at 1 o'clock, Eld. G.M. Shutts officiating, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Heighton Hill cemetery. The bereaved husband and children have the sympathy of a large circle of acquaintances.
