C. E. Coggeshall. The body arrived from California Monday and was taken to the home of Mrs. Ella Meisky. Pallbearers were Ernest Brookhart, Milton Edmonds, Earl Walker, Daris Forbes, Lawrence Forbes and Warren Forbes. Music for the service was furnished by Earl Rife and Merrill Kelso, accompanied by Mrs. Earl Rife. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Ernest Brookhart, Mrs. Milton Edmonds, Mrs. Earl Walker and Mrs. H. H. Harbison. Burial was in the Swank cemetery. Obituary Henrietta Cline, youngest daughter of David and Anna Cline, was born May 27, 1897 at Riverside, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Fred E. Forbes June 3, 1897, and to this union five children were born, two of whom, Layton and Goldie preceded her in death. In 1910 with her family she moved to Minnesota where she lived until February, 1927, when they moved to Modesto, Calif. The following year, on May 2, 1928 her husband passed away. On March 13 of this year death came to Mrs. Forbes at St. Mary's hospital in Modesto, following an extended illness with diabetes and heart trouble. She leaves to mourn her departure three children, Mrs. Gertrude Neal of St. Louis, Mo.; Lloyd L. Forbes of Martinez, Calif.; Larry G. Forbes serving with the Seebees in the South Pacific. Also five grandchildren, one brother John Cline of Lone Tree, Iowa; and five sisters, Mrs. George Wall, Mrs. Ella Meisky, and Mrs. Charles Hawthorne of Lone Tree; Mrs. Clay Caldwell of Iowa City, and Mrs. Celia Bonsack of Modesto, Calif. One sister, Emma, preceded her in death two years ago. She was a member of the Navy Mothers' club at Modesto, and was always ready to extend a helping hand to everyone in the hour of need. Short funeral services were held at the Moore Funeral chapel in Modesto for relatives and friends in California.
