Description	:	Henry Albert Koester, the oldest of ten children of John H. and Rachel Frerichs Koester, was born January 26, 1893, on a farm in Nemaha County, Nebraska, and passed away October 29, 1980, at the Good Samaritan Center in Superior at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 3 days. Survivors include one son, Glen and his wife, Thelma of Guide Rock; 2 brothers, Gerherd of Superior and Robert of McMinnville, Oregon; 2 sisters, Mrs. Clara Cruse of Lyons, Colorado, and Mrs. Leola Godsey of Lincoln; granddaughters, Mrs. Richard (Glenda) Booker; great grandchildren, Leigh Ann and Brenda Booker of Minden and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 1, from the Centennial Lutheran Church, Superior. The Pastor Paul Theiss officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Casketbearers were Roger Wulf, Dan Shaw, Bob Harvey, Jerry Combs, Dwayne Crispin and Kenneth Fausch. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, November 6, 1980; pg. 13
