Description	:	Married Louvenia Jane Blanchard in 1866. Occupation: Farmer MO d/c 24939 ~~~~~~~ On 21 Aug 1861 in Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois; joined as a Pvt. in the Union Army, Company B, 3rd Regiment, Missouri Cavalry for three years "or during the War". Mustered-in (reported for duty) at Camp Carrick in Palmyra, Marion Co., Missouri on 26 Nov 1861. From Sept. 1863 to June 1864 in Little Rock, Arkansas was sick at St. John's Hospital: intermittent fever. By July 1864 he was back with his unit which was still at Little Rock, Arkansas. He died that evening and his funeral was held at Shelbyville at 11 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. Foreman was well and favorably known by our people who extend sympathy to the bereaved ones.
