Description	:	Henry D. Kosters, 77, of Sioux Center died Monday, November 7, at his home in Sioux Center but was taken to the Sioux Center hospital. Services were at Faith Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center on November 10, with the Rev. Mark De Witt and the Rev. Arnold Punt officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery. At the funeral service, three members of the quartet to which Kosters himself had belonged for a long time sang The Riches of Love and That Beautiful Land. Harold E. Congregational hymns which were sung were I Will Sing of My Redeemer and When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder. Organist was Donna Den Herder. Dan Vicker read Psalm 25, which was the favorite psalm of Henry Kosters. Casket bearers were Larry Kosters, Ryan Kosters, Dan Vicker, Darby Vicker, James Kosters and Francis Kosters. Honorary bearers were Marvin Wierda, John Zeutenhorst and James Mahaffy. Kosters was born December 13, 1916 in Sioux Center, the son of John and Johanna (Riemersma) Kosters. On February 12, 1941, he married Priscilla Vermeer at Sioux Center. Kosters was a lifelong member of First Reformed Church in Sioux Center, where he sang in the choir for more than 50 years. He was a farmer for more than 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Priscilla; two sons, Larry John of Colcunda, Nevada, and James and his wife, Kay, of Sioux Center; a daughter, Mrs. Dan (Lorraine) Vicker of West Des Moines; six grandchildren, Ryan, Audra, Miranda and Kole Kosters, and Darby and Jill Vicker; two sisters, Sarah Kosters of Sioux Center and Mrs. Lyle (Eileen) Stange of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and a brother, Francis Kosters of Sioux Center.
