Description	:	According to his obituary, published in the State March 31,1927 he was buried at Manning Cemetery by Rev. H D Bradham pastor of Manning Baptist Church of which he was a member. It states he had been ill for several months and his death was not unexpected. He was almost 77 years of age and the son of B T L Barrineau of Kingstree where he was born and raised. He was married to Mary Holladay in 1883. She was the daughter of the late N H Holladay. The family moved to Clarendon County in 1896 and were engaged in farming. He was survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs A J Boswell of Florence, Mrs B E Jordan and Mrs W E Folk of Denmark, and Mrs J W Barton and Mrs H C Barrineau * of Manning and 22 grandchildren. *Henry Doward and Mary Jane Holladay Barrineau had 4 daughters and one son, Henry Calhoun Barrineau, was living in Manning S C at the time of his father's death. The obituary is an error. The Family lived and farmed on Holladay property in the Sammy Swamp area of Clarendon County. his father was BTL Barrineau but his mother is unknown, possibly her first name was Rebecca.
