Read More	HENRY KRONLAGE IS SECOND HEAT VICTIM STRICKEN WHILE ON HIS WAY TO THE HOUSE FROM THE HARVEST FIELD Death Followed Within Few Hours-- Funeral Took Place on Tuesday Morning. Henry Kronlage, son of Mr. Frank Kronlage, who resides a short distance southwest of Dyersville, was a victim of the excessive heat last Saturday. He was overcome in teh afternoon and his death followed at about 7:30 the same evening. The young man, had been at work in the harvest field, throughout the afternoon assisting his father, and while he was on his way to the house at the noon hour, one of the wheels of his wagon came loose. Henry attempted to repair it, but was unable to accomplish much and began to feel weak. He went to the house and gradually grew worse. A physician was summoned, but he was beyond medical assistance, for in spite of all the could be done, his condition became weaker and he finally passed away about 730 in the evening, only a few hours form the time he was stricken. He was forty-two years of age. The news of his sudden passing came as a shock to his numerous friends. Deceased was born in Oldenburg, Germany, November 19. 1874. At the age of fifteen, he came to this country with his parents and has continually assisted his folks at home on their excellent farm. His mother passed away twenty-two years ago. He is survived by his father, two sisters, Elizabeth, Mrs. Ferd. Thole, Anna, at home and one brother Joseph, of Ionia, Iowa. Frank was an excellent young man, possessing many manly traits of character, honest and upright and has always been held in highest esteem. He was an active member of the St. Francis society, R.C.M.P.S. and a week before was with the members carrying the banner at the funeral of the late Herman Plathe, who was also a victim of the heat. The death of Mr. Kronlage coming so sudden, has caused genuine sorrow among his numerous friends and acquaintances and sympathy is etended to the bereaved ones. The Funeral took place Tuesday morning from the home, to St. Francis church, where requiem mass was offered by Rev. Father Dunkel. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. The funeral was largely attended. The pallbearers were Messrs. Frank Schermeer, Wm. Drexler, Chas. Drexler, Henry Hanfeld, John Luensmann and Leo Reiff.
