Read More	Henry Fuehrer Well Known Citizen Passes Away Saturday After a painful illness of about eight weeks, Henry Fuehrer, a well known and highly respected resident of Central City passed away at his home Saturday evening. Death was caused by a complication of diseases, Mr. Fuehrer having been in rather poor health for some time. On Friday morning his condition became alarming, and it was soon realized that his life was nearing its close. Henry Fuehrer was born in Worms, Germany, on December 5th, 1863, and died Saturday, November 30th, 1918. He came to this country with his parents forty-three years ago, settling near Sutton, Neb. About twenty years ago he came to Central City, where he has since made his home. He was married in 1887 to Miss Elizabeth Fuehrer, and to this union were born six children, one of whom, a son, died in infancy. The others together with their mother survive their father and are as follows: Edward H. Fuehrer, who recently removed here from Chicago with his wife and child; Clara Fuehrer; Elmer Fuehrer, who was called home from Fort Riley; Helen Fuehrer and Dorothy Fuehrer. He leaves also to morun his loss, his daughter-in-law, Mrs Edward Fuehrer and one small grand child; four brothers and three sisters, all residing in the state with the exception of one sister living in Illinois. A brother Jacob Fuehrer passed away a few months ago. Although of foreign birth, Mr. Fuehrer was a citizen whose loyalty no one could question. He was honorable and upright in all his dealings and was much esteemed by his fellow townsmen. He was kind and thoughtful husband and father, and his death is a keen blow to those whom he leaves behind. Brief funeral services were held at the home on Tuesday, Rev. G. W. Stansbury pastor of the Baptist church being in charge, and the remains were taken to Sutton in compliance with a wish that Mr. Fuehrer had expressed when it was realized that he could not recover. The body was accompanied to Sutton by Mrs. Fuehrer and all the children. Mrs. Edward Fuehrer was unable to go, not having fully recovered as yet from a recent illness. Miss Pauline Fraley of Sutton, a sister of Mrs. Fuehrer, who had been called here by Mr. Fuehrer's illness, returned home with the others. Interment was made at Sutton on Wednesday after a funeral service held at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon. Many old friends of the deceased were in attendance at the last said rites. A number of beautiful floral offerings were made, among them one from the Woodmen of the World of which order Mr. Fuehrer was a member.
