He departed this life on Sunday, June 23, 1968 at Wolbach at the age of 16 years. In 1963 he moved with his parents and sisters to Wood River, Nebraska. He received his education there and in 1967 the family moved to Wolbach where he continued his schooling. Gene was a member of the Nazarene Church. He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, three sisters, Martha Irene, Frances Sue and Velma Kay, all of Wolbach; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Lane of Callaway and other relatives. Preceding him in death were a brother, Madison and his paternal grandparents. ~~~~ Mother's maiden name was Verva Lois Lange, born ca 1927.
