Description	:	Son of Henry O. & Lillie (Simpson) Campain. He graduated from Newman Grove High School. He worked at Reece's Wooden Shoe Factory in Columbus, and on January 31, 1942 entered the United States Army Air Corp, serving during WWII. Henry served in Southern France, North Armenia, and the Po Valley in the 431st. Signal Construction Battalion. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. On May 10, 1947, he was united in marriage to Helen Pollard in Columbus. Henry later went to work for Behlen Manufacturing as a Mechanical Engineer and retired after 28 years of service. Henry enjoyed collecting John Deere toy tractors and coins. He was a great handy man, and took pride in his home that he built.
